I can't find an issue. So I thought I'd hit Philippine Star and check the opinion section. [I'm pretty clueless.]
Then I see...
Maestro Yatco at BelAir/The Waltz King lives!
And I'm all, What? Yatco. O_o
I read on and see...
"...- conductor Oscar C. Yatco must have honed the skills of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra’s brass players with unrelenting determination."
And then I tried Wiki-ing his name for the heck of it.
Dude, results showed up.
Professor Oscar C. Yatco (born November 23, 1931) is a Filipino conductor and violinist residing in Germany.
Born to a family of music lovers, Yatco obtained his music teacher’s diploma at the young age of 16 from the University of the Philippines in 1947.
Born to a family of music lovers indeed...
I KNEW they're a musical family!
