Dinner with Maica and Pao

It totally made my day. :D

Oddly enough, I didn't think some minutes in Powerbooks would be fun. Maica and I were recommending books for Pao to read. Even people from whom she could borrow from.

There was a Powerbooks lady there who was REALLY helpful and friendly and OMG SHE'S PERFECT. SHE SHOULD BE EMPLOYEE OF THE CENTURY.

But nobody's perfect, as you'll see later...

Pao: So what other books should we get?
Lady: We have new books there, you can check. :D
Me, Pao, Maica: OOOOH. :D
Me: Wanna read... Twilight? XD
Pao and Maica: EW.
Lady: What's wrong with Twilight? D:
Me, Pao, Maica: D: Sorry.

Pao: Is this series worth reading?
Lady: Personally, I've never read it. But my friends tell me it's a good series. :D

Maica: OMG GLASS! D: *tries to reach for it on the TOP self*
Me: Sige nga, reach for it.
Maica: F*CK YOU. *still struggling*
Me: :D
Maica: Please get it. D:
Me: XD *gets it*
Pao: What's it about?
Maica: Um, sex, drugs, and shit. :D
Me: Pao is NOT reading that.
Maica: *places it back on the self*
Me: Put it back to where you found it.
Maica: :| I CAN'T REACH IT.

Pao: So what other books should I read? What's like Magikus?
Me: Tamora Pierce wrote something...
Maica: Kaye Tan owns the whole series.
Me: Briar Rose?
Maica: Briar Moss, smartie.
Me: ...Winding Circle?
Maica: THERE.

Pao: I want to read this book. The Last Olympian. :D
Lady: Oh, we've got the whole series. :D
Me: The Last Olympian's the last book. Lea has them all.
Pao: Then what's the first?
Me: The Lightning Thief. But BC's reading it.
Pao: Then I'll text BC to hurry up and I'll ask Lea for the other books. :D

And we randomly remembered Isa Fran, Kaye Tan, Mari Barretto, and all the times we were such bookworms. ):

I wish I had books to read. And that I could read as MUCH as I did before.
