Just a few thoughts.

What started it: Wall-to-wall on Facebook.

Me: I miss you. When was the last time I saw you? 3 years ago?
Katie: I miss you too! I know right? When are you visiting me, girl?!
Me: I'd be pretty lucky if I can get out of the country any time soon...
Katie: I think I might be in the Philippines next next summer!
Me: Yeah? Won't we be 19 by then? Well, I know I'll be 19...
Katie: What, no! 18, crazy girl! I miss you na! Ikaw kasi e!

Thoughts:
1. Wow, I'll see her after 5 or 6 years?
2. Would that be awkward?
3. Damn, we'd be adults.

I kinda find it annoying/awkward/sad that my younger siblings don't remember them... Or how we might meet up and discover that there's a new member in the family that doesn't know/remember us... So we can't really bond properly.

So... after we all moved and stuff... I think that a reunion might be highly unlikely... And even though we want to buy Fook Chi [the building we all lived in], is it really possible?

Is Fook Chi going to remain as a memory?

Just a memory?

Are we ever going to see each other and still be friends? Or are we going to have awkward moments since we haven't seen each other in years? Would we not be able to connect anymore, since we grew up in different places, living with different cultures and stuff?

What about the friends I made here? Are we going to separate and never see each other again too? I remember reading something from The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens that Sean, the author, made friends... but never really hung out with them when he was working and stuff.

It wasn't helpful when dad was like, "Oh. You're in 4th year na? This will be the saddest year, since this is the last time you'll see everyone." Thanks, dad. :| If it was hell when Jae Hee and Isa left, I'd hate to think about never seeing the rest of the batch.
